Sports have always been a passion of mine, both as a participant and a spectator. EliteVision Athletics was founded to provide athletes with quality and comfortable sportswear to compete in and to inspire the next wave of athletes through fashion.

Most people are not living to the fullest of their potential. Therefore, my aim is to inspire people of all ages, races, and gender to possess the ‘EliteVision’ needed to realize their dreams.

Elite Vision is more than just a brand. It is a way of life that encourages others to live to their fullest potential while being their unique self.

Our story

who are the idehen brothers ?

Our family, originally from Nigeria, immigrated to The United States in 2000, after previously living in Ukraine and Spain. Edward was born in Benin City, Nigeria, just before the Idehen family moved to the US. In 2001, Elliott was born in Des Moines, Iowa. We also have other siblings, Enrique Idehen (Born in Spain in 1999) and Devine Idehen (Born in Nigeria in 2007). We were raised in Urbandale, Iowa, where we attended school throughout our early years. Growing up, sports have been such an important part of our lives. Starting our athletic journeys at the ages of 3 and 4, we’ve always been in love with the beautiful game, also known as soccer or football. Moving overseas to fulfill our dreams of becoming professional soccer players goes to show how passionate and ambitious we are about sports and reaching our goals. From January 2019 through March 2020, we lived in Spain to pursue our dreams. Being immersed in a completely different environment as teenagers have allowed us to develop as individuals by forcing us to learn a new language while adapting to the beautiful, Spanish culture. Unfortunately, the Coronavirus pandemic has put a halt to our journey and sent us back to the States. We were incredibly blessed to have been recruited by a semi-professional team located in Philadelphia. Though the pandemic has been difficult for many athletes across the globe, the clock never stops ticking. We continue to push through and find ways to become better each day through training and personal development. Every day that passes we are a step closer to reaching our dreams!

Why Elitevision?

Being young and motivated, we’ve always had the drive and the vision to succeed in life, whether it’s soccer, school, work, etc. As athletes, sportswear is something that we’ve always been passionate about. We came up with the idea of starting our own sportswear brand over the COVID-19 quarantine period in the summer of 2020. We noticed that many promising athletes and students are unable to realize their potential due to an unclear vision, especially after the pandemic canceled many important events for athletes. It may even be difficult for athletes to find somewhere to train while sports teams are being put on hold. Anyone involved in sports training could understand the difficulties of staying focused, driven, and motivated during these uncertain times.

Though this year has placed countless obstacles in front of athletes and active people, EliteVision Athletics is set to inspire athletes to have the mindset of overcoming adversities and growth as individuals. Through fashion, we strive to make a difference for athletes around the world and help them obtain that ‘Elite Vision’.

We noticed that many sports teams do not have the option of wearing unique customized uniforms that represent their team’s history, culture, and community. This is why EliteVision Athletics promises to provide unique, custom-made uniforms and fan gear tailored to the identity of the team or franchise.  As they say, “Look good, feel good, play good.” Our jaw-dropping designs enable athletes to perform confidently while looking their best. We strive to enhance both athletes and active people to perform at their best.

Future goals & ambitions

We are not short of future ambitions to help make a difference in our community.  Firstly, we plan to start a summer soccer camp for kids across the Des Moines Metro. The youth soccer players will be developing their own ‘Elite Vision’ while staying fit and having fun over the summer break. We‘ll be starting an after-school mentorship program in which ex-professional athletes, motivational speakers, and other volunteers would come in to teach, guide, and inspire student-athletes to excel both academically and in their sport(s). This will help maximize their opportunities to move on to the next level in their athletic and educational careers. Another objective we have is to open up an EliteVision Soccer Academy in Iowa. Since Iowa lacks a US Soccer Developmental Academy club (the highest level of youth soccer in the country), we hope to start a USSDA soccer academy in the state. This academy would provide an elite program for the top players in the state of  Iowa to compete, develop, and grow both as players and as individuals. Last, but not least, we are planning on hosting charity soccer games, tournaments, and events in the upcoming years. These events will raise awareness and support for the children of The Cornerstone of Hope Orphanage, an orphanage started by our father, Eric Idehen, located in his hometown of Benin City, Nigeria. The proceeds raised will be contributed towards housing, proper nutrition, education, and healthcare for the orphans.
